The first spyderco you will buy in 2016?

I'm seriously considering the Gayle Bradley 2, the Mantra 1, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Minuteman.. I may have to wait on a few of those purchases so my wallet can catch up to my wants
 
First in 2016 will be one of the Rescue line. I'll be doing a lot of rescuing and riding a lot of ambulances in the very near future.
 
Last night I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Sage 3. I really like the looks of the Sage 1 more, but I don't like the liner lock since I'm a lefty. This will be my first Taichung Spydie.

Did you get a blue sprint, or the basket weave CF version?
Sage 3 is a very smooth knife. A bit wide and pocket, and has a lightish detent that can be momentum opened, but overall a great knife, nice choice.
 
I ordered the carbon fiber G10 laminate version. I'm just hoping the lock doesn't have any issues. I've heard that sometimes the Sage 3 doesn't have much of a detent, causing it to inadvertently open. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when it's supposed to be delivered.

I've never once had mine open in pocket. It shouldn't be, and doubt it will be, that light! Just lighter than many other designs and you can wrist flick it open.
Still tighter detent than the GB Air.
 
Damn you people! My first of the year was the Matriarch2 & Positron. But now I want a Mantra & GB2. I really need a twelve step program. Of course in my world, that just means that I buy 12 more knives.....will probably be mostly Spyders. And then there's also the Sprig, Proficient, and Firefly that I really like. But I also want a Salt too. I have problems.

Whatever I'm after next.. PM2 m4 or a Minuteman, I hope they do one of them (or both, is good with me) in Foliage Green g10!

I like my Spyderpacs.
Neat thing is that they can be hung so I can see which knife to pick for the day.
They're starting to overflow again though. Maybe time for a clearance sale?
