the flipper has landed!

Wait, wait...when did the steel change to S35?

I dunno when, but it has. I asked Peter about the expected finish date and I was informed of the steel change. It's a deal breaker for me, as I was really looking forward to S90V. He is dropping the price (25 dollars) of them, but I would still rather have had the S90.

Yeah, i was goin to mass email the listees but didnt yet, word is out. Better here anyway. S35vn for the run. The change was after i had a bunch of guys in on the list. Dont feel bad if you want to drop out, but s35v is hot stuff on its own.

I honestly don't have any problem with S35 at all, but there is some allure to S90V that S35 just doesn't have (for me, at least). I am going to stay on the lookout for one of your previous knives in S90 and scoop it up if I have the chance. :D

Darn, I'm really torn now. I want the knife because it is going to be freakin awesome...but I like getting variety in my steel so S90V was a BIG draw, I guess I'll hang on to my spot and make the final decision when that time comes. Either way Peter, keep up the excellent work, it's going to be a killer knife no matter the steel.

I like it. Why not take the liners all the way to the pivot area?

It was a design idea. I didnt want to groove the blade ( remove strength) so i made the stop pin path move around the liners.

Take a closer look. There is an integral stop pin in the blade. That channel near the pivot that is missing the liners is where it rides. :)

wow! the finished flippers are hot! ill get a few pics up in the next couple days.
