I figured I'd take a few pics of some of the flowers that are shooting up at the moment when I went on my walk today !

I love the smell of this Skunk Cabbage...

Anyways when I set off it was pouring with rain and then it suddenly stopped and the sun came out....

And this was what I was getting at with the thread title, because as the sun warmed everything up, it appeared like it was all smoking.

Great pics. Nothing like the great Northwest

Good to see signs of spring, even though it's north of me. :grumpy:

If it keeps up like that you'll be swatting skeeters before us.

Great pics, thanks for sharing.

I asked my wife who is the gardening expert in the family,
and she says that they are Grape hyacinth.
She grew them in the flower beds last year here in Kamloops.

Cheers

Yep. Dave is right. Grape Hyacinth.
They are very hearty littl plants. If you don't remove the bulb, they'll come back every year. They pop up all over my back yard in the spring.

Great pics once again pitdog!

Those are some really nice close ups of the plants. I really like the first shot with the water beeding off the leaves.
