First off, I wish to commend Buck Knives for their continuing innovation, and for designing a knife with blade dimensions of 3 inches or less. My question is (and you can probably see this one coming, I hope) this: Will the Ecco have a pocket clip? I hope so, because this will ultimately decide whether or not I purchase one. Thanks for any help, and keep up the good work!

And will the pocket clip be reversible, for us lefties?

According to the early catalog copy I have, neither of the two Ecco models will have a pocketclip.

I would keep an eye on this one though. It may end up with a clip someday if enough folks want it that way.

I find that somewhat encouraging, Joe, but I simply cannot imagine so many people wanting one without a pocket clip that Buck would decide to omit it. Even a removable pocket clip would satisfy those few people who wish to do without a clip. BTW, sorry for the delay in my response, I don't get down here as often as I should.
