here are some pictures of the four E handled proto knives. first pic is the four protos lined up. BM-E, SH-E, NO and a Warden. the warden did not go into production. i'll post each next to the current production as i see a lot of differences.

and here is a REALLY strange one
the center knive seems to be a mutant, it is unsharped like the rest and seems to be a cross between a SH and NO? it appears to be closer to the SH with a clip point. i think it should go in to production if it hasn't all ready. also i like the lines in the NO Proto better than the NO.

WOW! Nice stuff!

Have to agree about the clip point SH~NO proto, this should go into production right away :D

Great Pics Idaho! The clip point looks a lot like a Euro Model knife, doesn't it? Maybe that is where it went into production.

no screwtape, i checked that out. it is almost 1 inch longer than the euro. it is a nice feeling knife. i think its just about perfect for lots of uses.

Wow! I love the looks of that SH/Outlaw Clip!

How in the froiks did you find that stuff?:D

Idaho,
More great pics, thanks! Can I get the metal detector with the
INFI switch at Radio Shack??;) :D

i searched hi and low in a frenzied pattern, the clip point is way cool. this one has not been tempered or sharpened. jerry should make a run of 500 of these blades. i will donate the pattern if he doesn't already have it hidden away! :D

Great finds Idaho!!! :D :D

That SH goes into my SH lineage :)

I can't believe you found them....those are amazing

Hey Skunk! When I finally meet you one day and get you drunk, remind me to swipe that clip point from you......very nice. If she ever needs a holiday down south, let me know!;) I will send her back, I promise on me budgies grave.

Idaho,
Thanks for taking the time to get these pics and share them with us. Great knives, great pics and a great find especially in that GW :D:D

The Clip Point SH/NO looks a lot like the "Care Taker" on the German website.

Jeff,

I have to agree with you that they do look similar at first glance, but the Idaho Clip point is nearly an inch longer and considerably wider. Plus the Euros have a much longer clip and do not have the extended skull crusher and rear talon hole.

Very cool, :)

Idaho,

Those annealed, unsharpened INFI protos are too cool; however, if memory serves me, there is a Steel Heart E somewhere with a really drastically dropped handle. I believe this knife had a tan handle...someone has posted the picture before, can you get your hands on that knife...or at least the picture?

Thanks,

Bachan
