The Fusion Battle Choppasaurus Is Coming 3-5-2023 At 9:00PM Eastern . . . .

Yellowhawk? Never heard of ‘em. 🤷‍♂️ My guess for first sheaths is our very own David Brown for Kydex (BuyBrown), and Chad Pirtle for leather (Pirtlemade).
Thank you my friend. I will be ordering at least one ;)
I think the coating just makes it hard to see the saber grind. But it looks sterile 😎
You are 100% on the coating makes the saber grind look less pronounced
Also if you look closely the logo is there.
with the coating sometimes the laser does not go as deep my SJ TAC 7 that is coated you can barely see the logo, kind of stealthy :)

Ohhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

ScrapSquatch makes that thing look like a Ratmandu. What a unit :D
😂 I thought the exact same thing when watching that vid!

Pick up my SJTAC 7 and look at it in my hand then I'd look at Dan.....

"🤔 hmmm...."

Pick up the AFBM and look at Dan again...

"🧐.... that don't look right....."

Pick up the SJTAC 7 once more and look at it in my hand then look back at Dan for the third time...

"Are they trying to pull a fast one on me?"

I was nearly convinced he was not holding a 15" - 16" long knife! I mean, look how his big bear mitt engulfs that handle! It's more like a hand and a half sized grip for me!

Satin here as well, but this time I'm getting the black G10. Looks so good on the SJTAC 7 and the pic of the AFBM that I have to get it here. Regrettably did not get it on the AFBM out of fear it'd feel too harsh under hard use. Hope it's not too much less comfortable than the micarta, but I just can't get over how good that deep black looks with satin. Feels good on the SJTAC 7 though and life's too short to have regrets!

Anyone else wishing they'd offer the nuclear meltdown option again? Having the choil, tang, and maybe even spine rounded would be pretty sweet. Give it that extra premium feeling fitting of these excellent blades, besides adding some always welcome extra comfort.

Oh I sense some spice in that answer, mind pming me if there is?
Don’t read into it too much.

A) I can’t PM you as you are not a paying member.

B) No need anyway. Take what I said at face value. I’ve never heard of the company you mentioned around here. Not once. David usually has sheaths made and posted here before some people even get their knives. You asked who we thought would have the first sheath available, and I gave you my answer. I am likely correct too.

Oh, I had no idea , I used to talk to people a lot way back when. cool I’ll definitely check em out. I appreciate you honesty. It just seemed to have my level of sarcasm sprinkled on top. Thanks.

Who do you think will have the first copy of a sheath for it, Yellowhawk customs? I’ve never bought through him but hear they’re buttery.
Sheathmakers wait for their knives like we do. The faster they get their order in, the better chance they receive the order more quickly once knives start shipping from Busse. David Brown has an impressive in-house stock of Busse & 'Kin models on hand for making sheaths, surely he's in for this chopper. 👍
I'm not sure Yellowhawk orders models from Busse like David & Chad do... vvv

...Because until I read through this thread, I'd never heard of them either, but was very surprised to learn from their website that they are here in PA, mebbe 1-2 hours outside Philly, through a Google search 🤔
