The future of CRK?

I can't believe that someone would want to know about the warrant on a knife, if something happens to the man that warranties that knife. Chris is a great man , that built a remarkable company. I have about 8 of his knives and if something happened, I'd be more upset about loosing a great man / company than who was going to service my inanimate object. I think this discussion is rude to say the least. But for those who are this concerned about it, why don't you buy some more CRK knives and hope for the worst .... Maybe they will skyrocket in value and you can cash in on someone else's misfortune.

Very well said!

Dude chill out. He was asking about when the man RETIRES..... not perishes. You've never asked a professional in any industry what happens to their business when they retire? I've asked a few in person and not one found it offensive or rude. A pretty valid concern given how most companies change when the original owner sells/retires. It is something they think about. Nobody in here is trying to "cash in on someone else's misfortune"... I don't even know where you got that.

May Chris last as long as his knives. I, for one, could care less about the warranty. They are worth every penny I paid, and I am confident they, and he, will last.

My only concern is whether they will be around for my next knife purchase. My small sebenza has been my edc for 10 years. I've used the heck out of it, and it has held up very well - really beyond belief and certainly beyond my wildest expectation. I'd honestly buy another one even if it had just a 30 day warranty - just enough to ensure no obvious mfr problem.

Seriously, don't give he warranty a second thought. You'll never need it.

I agree. Calm down. The OP was just asking a legit question. Any private or public professional company should have a long term business plan. We all want CRK to continue for many years, and I am sure they will.
