I always appreciate your contributions. You have a lot of material I need to dig into more when one of my four jobs isn't stealing me away. I try to make high value to cost knives for end users. I went with 14C28N for my latest round based on your recommendation and my previous experience with AEB-L. Best, comprehensive, no BS steel info on the web.
 
I loved this article. I have really enjoyed the vanadium steels for years. If we only had a stainless steel with that mix of properties, with the ability to get a Hamon.....
 
Another good article, Larrin. Thanks to your articles, a few months ago I came to the conclusion that, for me, CPM 10V is the steel I wanted to get to know more, with 4v a close second.
