The future Stars of Custom Knife Making....

There's a lot that goes into making a good framelock or linerlock, so much so that I am extremely impressed and honestly a tiny bit skeptical that he built a flipper at that age all by himself... do you think he owns a copy of Terzuola's book?

Trevor has had some help from people like Rob Thomas, and others I am sure.

I have talked to Trevor in the last few days.
He is a great kid. This video is not a 'one off' for the camera.
He is working hard to improve his folders, and all the money he is putting together is being spent on more equipment.

I don't think we will see much new work from him in the near future, as he already has orders to fill and College to focus on...

I think that it is totally possibly for a younger teenager to create something like this. I never thought I would have been able to rebuild an engine in my teens, but with the right guidance and patience from certain people, I made it happen.

Trevor is very talented. I am sitting here typing this up with one of his Abrams frame locks in my pocket. I have been using it all morning to complete all sorts of tasks and it has shrugged each of them off with ease.

Just gave it a nice coat of mineral oil to thank it.

Thanks again Alex for giving me the opportunity to own one.

Impressive, to say the least. I'm glad to see guys my age pursuing a skilled trade. Haven't tackled knives yet as I'm a timber framer and writer, but this has me tempted to finish the forge I started years ago and start making some of my own tools.

Here is some motivation for you.

Get that forge finished!
