The Gamblers Edge

[Bruce Bump]

This dagger is finally finished and fresh off of Coops press.

It has accordion cut mosaic damascus and preban ivory. The ivory dice are housed inside the handle. I formed the fiber glas sheath, Claude Scott covered it with pig skin and The engraving is from the artistic hand of Joe Mason.

One set of the dice has the "6" drilled out and filled with lead, opposite is a "4" and a "3" so the chances of rolling a lucky "7" is greatly increased thus the name "The Gamblers Edge"

Erin, surprisingly I have no pics of the knife construction but its basically a framed handle with the tang split wide enough for 5/8" square dice to fit inside. The ivory scales are milled out the same width as the tang to form a square. The stainless liners tie the frame and the tang together and the two pins help hold it all tight.
I do have a set of dice pics that may be fun to see.
