Most of you already know my story involving the Bose lottery poach at BLADE, but this part will now come to light as it should. 
...After the high of winning a Bose, followed by the gut punch of a low finding out it was poached out from under me, it was around 3:50pm, Friday. Looking over at the Busse booth, I decided that I needed to just skip the 4:00pm feeding, and bail out for a break, so I went with Morrow to join his wife for a beer and slip out for a cigarette, and try to shake off the anger and despair over that situation. Bought them a round as a (very) small payback for Jason standing up for me by verifying that I was indeed the winner for that particular knife. Went out for a smoke, tried to level out. After, it was time for the Hinderer lottery, and after that then I went back to the Busse booth... Asked someone if I'd missed anything special...
"Skeleton Keys." was the reply. I asked, "You mean Skeleton Wardens?" What can I say? ...I didn't want to believe my ears!
"No, Keys, Skeleton Keys. Dan came out into the crowd and passed them all out!" ...Well, s...!!

I caught Garth (I think) and asked if there was either any left or if one popped up, to please consider letting me snag it. Rob Stanley overheard this and insisted that I have one of his. I mean HAVE it...as in he gave it to me, to which even just the offer rocked me back on my heels. ...I probably had the goofiest expression on my face, told him that I couldn't take it, thanks much & no worries...to which he said something like "Mate, it's yours, please accept it, you're a good friend, don't argue!" Well, if you can imagine, I was blown away by his generosity. Rob, mate, I just had to say that you're bloody AWESOME and THANK YOU very much, mate! I definitely appreciate it, will always keep it, and every time I use it, I'll remember you and your friendship, brother...and always know that you are a great friend to me and a true HOG!!!

Monte (mamun1024), having heard that I missed out on these, approached me on Sunday and generously passed one of his on to me at table price without even opening it to see what color he might be passing up. Monte, brother, you're freakin' AWESOME too, my friend, and THANK YOU so very much!!! Love it, keeping it, gonna use it too, and I'll always remember your generosity as well, my friend!
I gotta say that these two guys are just two of the kindest folks I know, and they both just completely blew me away! Many thanks to you both, brothers! You guys are just the freakin' best, and ALL HOG!!! Without you both, I'd be still kicking myself for missing out on a Busse model that I've really been wanting to get my hands on for a while now and thanks to you, I now have two to use.:thumbup::thumbup:
If there's a finer bunch of folks out there than those on this forum...well, I've yet to meet 'em! ...Just sayin'!
