The Generosity of HOGs!! (Part Deux...?) THANK YOU to RobStanley & manum1024!!!!!!!!

Man,

That is just awesome! I'm so sorry about the Bose incident; that truly is a huge bummer.

Monte and Rob, you are first class Hogs.

I've been the recipient of HOG/DOG generosity on several occasions and have also "paid it forward" as skunkhunter likes to say on the Scrap Yard forum.

For no reason at all, I got a package in the mail one day from a very kind DOG. I opened it thinking maybe he had send me some swag, and to my disbelief, there was a friggin Regulator in there!! :O

There was also a note saying how he had seen a post saying that I really wanted a Regulator but couldn't find one. I've used that thing so hard and it just keeps coming back for more!! I love it and will never part with it.

I, of course, felt like I needed to spread some steel around, so I gave my HOG friend the War Dog that he was lusting over after a camping trip we went on and also sent out a few sheaths and other things to some of my friends. It's a great feeling to be the recipient of generosity and it's also a great feeling to the benefactor.

Those skeleton keys look awesome. Congrats again!

Credit to everyone who helped you out Jaxx  Good people

The Bose incident sucks and I read the post in your link.

So you're looking for someone small in stature, dark haired, lacking in moral integrity but knowledgeable enough on knives and sufficiently well off to pay $1800 for a knife. They also attend Blade to trade knives from a ruck sack or brown bag .... and had a baseball cap on.

Remind you of anyone ? I know who I would be checking the forum for pic's of to show the guy who was at the table when this guy showed up to poach the blade, even if it were just to eliminate that person from "enquiries".

There cannot be that many people who fit this sort of profile in the knife community ....

If you ask the security people at the venue for copies of the camera footage for that day and get anywhere ... post pics of the room at the time and elsewhere if the same person shows up ...

There must be a few on here who have access to facial recognition software ...

Contact me if you do get the footage and need help. I have access to fairly accurate facial recognition software.
