  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I received a wonderful package from our friend Randy Redden ( r redden r redden ) this afternoon :) Randy hasn't had the easiest of years, so his thoughtfulness and generosity touched me even more than it would have anyway. So much care has gone into assembling the contents (and it isn't the first package Randy has kindly sent my way) :) What a great guy :) :thumbsup:

Of course there was a knife involved! :D And what a great knife it is, a super slim ebony #15 Boy's Knife, which has gone straight into my pocket in the leather GEC pocket-slip Randy sent to go with it :) :thumbsup:

And just look at that amazing Native American arrow-head! :cool: absolutely incredible, what a work of art! :) I can't wait to find out more about it :cool:

But there was lots more too! :eek:

How about this lovely old Cattaraugus straight razor? :cool:

Or these wonderful old photo cards? :)

Or the incredible vintage US coins from 1905, 1923, 1934, 1936, 1937, and 1942! :eek: Each one is fascinating to me :)

And there's a cute handmade brooch too :) As well as pair of vintage Case scissors :) :thumbsup:

Wow, I'm absolutely knocked out! :) And my face is beginning to hurt from smiling too much! :D :thumbsup:

Randy, thank you so much my friend, I am humbled by your thoughtfulness and generosity, you really have made my day :) What a great Friday! :cool:

Randy is yet another example of the generous and family feeling on this forum. A real brotherhood in every sense of the word. Even though I don't go to many forums anymore and my involvement in knife accumulation has waned, I still come here just for the people that make up this place.

Good on both of you!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
