The GF/wife/mom/bestfriend -proof list of “why that idiot got another knife”

I don’t understand this fear some men have of their significant other. If it’s your money, spend as you may. You don’t need permission or a justification.

Granted, if you’re pooling both incomes into one account, which is a horrible idea, any large purchase (relative) needs clearance from the other side.
 
I think about what my family needs are first, and any obligations or needs my friends or community might need, and if I can help.

Bills too of course.

When they get to the point that they are not asking me for anything, I use some cash for a knife or two or whatever else I want.
 
Shut up, go buy another purse.

I’ve had this knife for years doesn’t work anymore.

The wife doesn’t care anyways, she might get annoyed and roll her eyes but she knows the bills are paid and she’s not going to divorce me.

Usually, I think it’s just a running joke here. Like the smatchet solving every problem under the sun. Usually spouses ignore the knives. Right folks? Right? Right?!

Kidding aside, I agree with your post.
 
I said this is the last one about 5 knives ago ( Scowl ).
My wife doesn't mind to much, considering I have more than I could use in 20 life times.

My excuses:
This is the last one !!
Well... This one's really hard to find and this is only offered one time !

It's not crack... technically.
