I'm sure many of you remember this knife, and how special it is to me:
I got it awhile back from Mike Berkovitch, and though it's already been lightly used, I could never bring myself to actually use it myself. Being my only copperhead I just didn't want to mess it up.
Well, I went to visit Evan last night after his son's baptism, and I got one heck of a surprise! As a congratulatory gift on my new son, Evan and Charlie conspired to give me this knife:
It's another copperhead PPP, but this one is in pristine condition! And that means my original one is going straight in my pocket, to carry with pride, and be something very special to pass on to my son when the time comes!
And since I've got another Charlow to stick in my pocket, it only seems fair to take one out, and pass it on to one of you!
Open to anyone with a few posts in the traditionals forum, international members are welcome too, just post in this thread and in a few days I will randomly pick a new loving home for this Day's Work:
It's been used a bit, got a nice patina going, and it's still got another lifetime of work days left in it! (Or two!)
Thanks again to Charlie and Evan, and thanks to everyone who makes this forum special! You guys are the best!!!!
