Wow.... seeing these copperheads remind me of my good old stupid me day's, i remember my friends dad opening his gun case and seeing lots of little knives in there, he pulled one out and to my surprise handed it to me and said " you take care of thos and learn how to appreciate it more of them will follow" i nodded with a smile. But i was 18 at that time and saw knives as an all around tool. Working on my 1984 turbo Z, its been used as a screw driver, a mini pry bar and a saw. It recided in my tool bag until some one lost that tool bag in the junk yard while trying to source out car parts. When my friends dad heard of it, he cussed in several languages and had me mow the lawn (i lived with them at that time) and handed me a sog paratool and gave me a lecture knives and their importance along with their uses and limits. The same lecture i gave my sister when i passed that paratool down to her before she moved to a different state and was going take that long drive there. Its been over a decade since that old man gave me that lecture. Little did he know he didnt just help influence me but a few of our service members and their friends of the joy of sharing and how the smallest things in life can make the biggest difference though often overlooked.
