I passed the 2000 post mark sometime ago, also became a gold member for the first time this year. I have not really been able to express my appreciation for this forum in a meaningful way. I have also been the recipient of some incredible generosity on the part of one of our resident makers Walter Davis.

In light of all this comes the Giveaway giveaway. I have a forged bowie made by Walter. Specs and details can be seen here. There is no sheath.

The Rules.
1. You must either be at least a basic member of BF or be a significant contributor to W&SS (post count of at least 100 with 50% or more of your posts made here.).

2. You must post an item of significance that you are willing to give away if you win. Include a picture or link. There can be some flexibility here but don't be a cheapskate :eek:.

3. The winner will then take over this thread with his/her giveway and hopefully this will repeat itself.

4. The winner will be selected by
A. cheapskates will be filtered out :grumpy:
B. random number selected by post #​

5. One week to post entry per giveway.

I hope this works and lasts a while.

Very Generous Marcello.... I'm in I don't have much in the way of custom knives..I do have an Ahti leuku carbon steel 5 1/2 inch blade I'll kick in...it is the Top knife in this pic...

On that note guys, I think what Marcelo's saying, is don't post a picture of a piece of chewed bubble gum in order to get an entry in the contest:p You don't have to be willing to part with a $50 bill or a prized possession, just be willing to pay forward something that someone else may get some use or fun out of (no blow-up doll pic, please:D):thumbup:

I think I qualify cause even though im not a basic member I do post a lot here in this forum, and it's the one I check on a daily basis.
I can give a NIB never used black victorinox Nomad and I'll send a large chunk of fatwood with it. if the winner is interested in knifemaking I can send some pieces of wood for scales (mahogany, purpleheart, and some other brazilian woods).
maybe I can think of something else to give but for now that's it.

Ok...looks like I am back in the game. A big 'thank you' to whoever re-upped my membership :thumbup: Anyway...what I have right now is my minolta X-700 SLR (http://www.thecamerasite.net/01_SLR_Cameras/Images/Minolta-X-700.jpg) Great camera. Half of the pics I have posted on here were from this camera. I have a flash and 55mm Kalimar lens and whatever lens is on the camera now. It's at the office so I can't check it out atm. Sweet idea Marcelo. Thanks!!
 
i have a giveaway going in a seperate thread right now (if ya haven't signed up please do so, great little custom necker up for grabs) so i will sit this round out. i just wanted to state my support, i have some customs that can move, i will just wait for the second round to enter. great idea though, a thread to keep an eye on for sure.

Very cool givaway idea and really cool knife :thumbup: I might get in on this in a couple of rounds once I have some knives made up.
 
After looking at that Walter Davis Bowie again & again & again ! I had to add to my Give Away, I had to Kick It Up a Notch !
