Just wanted to chime in with a Goodie report.

I recieved this in the mail yesterday and besides taking the daughter to school and going to the range and throwing some bullets downrange I've done nothing but pretty much fondle and admire this thing from the time I got it til now.

Have a look:

I like it a lot! It feels really good in your hand. I didn't know too much about Desert Ironwood for the handle material but I'm glad I went with it. It looks excellent. I'm now considering some custom 1911 grips done in that material. But I'm rambling now as I still fondle this thing.

Matt you have an excellent knife here and you treated me very well during the transaction. I look foreward to obtaining more of your tools. I just hope you don't get swamped too bad that I'd have to wait too long for another one/s

Thanks a ton

Matt Lamey is all class and a fantastic knife maker. I have 3 knives from Matt and love them all. In fact, I have one of his first knives and NO MATT, you can't have it back.

I asked Matt to make my boys their first customs knives for xmas and I am honored that he is going to do that.

He makes a mean flat/convex edge, too.

Matt is a good man for a puddle pirate

I'm the guy that got Matt's first neck knife pictured at his site. It is an excellent little knife and he was a good guy to deal with. I have a feeling it won't be the only Matt Lamey knife I own.
