As much as it pains me to do so, I've decided to sell off most of my Hinderer collection. Over the last few months I've built up more than I can use, and while I'm glad I've experienced them all, I've settled on the couple I want to keep and finances and responsibility require that I send the rest on to new and happy homes.
I'm particularly proud of this batch of Hinderers, which I think represent the best of what Hinderer has to offer these days. All of them have been in the pocket, but show little if any signs of major wear. All have been sharpened with extreme care and precision by me on the Wicked Edge to a high-polished, hair popping razor edge. I have also swapped out the teflon washers that come stock on Hinderers for polished phosphor bronze washers, which for every example has added smoothness, improved flipping action, and utterly rock solid lockup.
I have documented my sharpening work on these, as the washer additions in this thread, which also includes additional pictures. The knives are currently in the same condition they where when photos in this thread were taken.
All knives come with original boxes and tactical peanuts from Hinderer. Paracord lanyards as shown in the pics will come with the knives if you want them. If not, I'm happy to take them off.
Up for sale we have the following:
XM-18 3.5" Slicer: The best flipper in the bunch. Falls shut like it's on bearings. Perfect centering. Comes with BOTH a red G10 scale and a sand G10 scale. Not splitting these up as I have no need for a loose scale. Stonewashed finish. Sharpened at 17 degrees per side. Price on this one is $OLD.
XM-18 3" Wharncliffe: Super snappy detent on this one, super smooth action. Centering very slightly favors the show side. Comes with translucent G10 scale and a full set of blue annodized TI hardware. Original hardware is also included. Again, not willing to split up the hardware, they need to go together. Stonewashed finish. Sharpened at 19 degrees per side. Price on this one is $OLD.
MP-1: Beautiful green G10 scale on this one (it originally had a brown micarta scale, I swapped them a while back). Perfect centering, detent, and flipping action. A fantastic example of the MP-1. Stonewashed finish. Sharpened at 15 degrees per side. Price on this one is $OLD.
Jurassic: A great example of the Jurassic, without the annoying reptile G10. This one comes with a blue G10 scale with standard Hinderer texturing. Perfect centering. Detent not quite as strong as the other Hinderers in the collection, but is perfectly adequate and flips easily with no wrist action needed. Full Working finish on this one. Sharpened at 17 degrees per side. Price is $OLD.
Half Track: A fantastic example of Hinderer's smallest knife. Perfect centering, flips like a rocket, great detent. Comes with a hard to find purple G10 scale. Full Working finish on this one as well. Sharpened at 18 degrees per side. Price on this one is $OLD.
Prices are all NET to me via paypal only, and include shipping in CONUS. If you want to use the Goods and Serviced option, add 3.5%. NO TRADES, funds need to be recouped on these, you know how it is.
Feel free to make offers, especially on multiples. The worst I can do is say no. If I'm ignoring you, its because you made a silly lowball offer.
First I'll take it followed by and email or PM gets it. You can email me at halden.doerge at gmail. Check my feedback and buy with confidence. I stand behind all my knives and sharpening work. If you want additional pics, I am happy to provide them, just email or PM me.
Thanks in advance, BF!
