    wOW,Square_Peg,that's incredible!Never seen anything that cool before!
    I did see something significant once,but was to dumb(uneducated)to make heads or tails of it really:Getting driftwood(much firewood and charcoal for forge i use is drift,which has been limbed and debarked by ice break-up,so that you see lots anatomy -wise),came across a twinned tree,two trees on the same rootball,separating soon after the ground level.One twisted right,the other left...(not just entwined together,definitely from same rootball,i checked...
    I just remember vaguely thinking "well,so much for windage or weather conditions...",but still don't know what to think...
