I can't remember any recent threads on guns and CRK's. So... all you CRK nuts, let's see your guns posing with your CRK's.

My two EDC's:

Great looking combo. How do you like the Glock? I've been looking into getting the 26 for concealed carry. I've shot and carried one a few times but I haven't carried it or shot it enough to form a solid opinion.

I love it. It shoots great. The short grip takes a couple of minutes to get used to, but it really is a non-issue. If the grip bothers you, just put a 15+ round magazine in and use a grip sleeve.

I carry appendix, 11:00 (I know, but I love the method). I recently picked up the 26 and it was between it and the 43. I shot and holstered both and the lack of width of the 43 didn't matter for me. The 26 shot better and the 10 round magazine made it an easy call.

The length of the grip is where my challenge lies for concealment and the 26 solves that problem while giving me a respectable caliber. I just installed the TFO sights so I need to get out and see how it shoots with the shortened sight spacing.

This one sleeps next to me -

Grail Gun. My Merkel 140-1 Double Rifle in 9.3x74R along with my Sebenza 25 that I toted with me this past deer season. Both have served me very well.

Man, that is a sweet rifle!! And that is a nasty caliber, nice choice! The 25 looks cool with it.

I added a pic showing the shells so you can see them in relation to the sebenza. It's a beast. Just under the great 375 H&H Mag, which I have 2 of.... Lol

Dang man, that's a real elephant cartridge, it must kick like a mule!

This is actually the bare Minimum to hunt dangerous game with in Africa. It doesnt kick bad at all. Kicks like my Ruger 300 win mag. Which is really nothing. Its regulated to shoot 247GR. RWS Ammo. They have quit importing them, so have shot everything from Norma 286GR to 250 Nosler. Nosler quit making the ballistic tips, so this year I used Barnes 250GR.

I just hunt whitetail deer with it, but I have it if I get the chance to hunt something bigger. Its pretty accurate for fixed non-adjustable open sights. Shoots about 3-4" group at 100yds. This year, I actually shot through a hemlock tree to get my deer ( not on purpose.....lol ). Keep in mind this tree was aprox. 15" in diameter. So far, I have taken 10 Whitetails with it.

That's amazing, thanks for the reply and the info; I haven't been hunting since I was a teenager, and I miss doing it; time sure flies. Now I'm teaching my grand kids to shoot, maybe they'll take me hunting! :)

And here is what I got, I used to have about 30 or so firearms but I sold them after I broke my back, I was trying to save my house, but lost the house too, oh well, at least I still have one of my Sigs; I built that rifle last year; it's a sweet shooter, it's chambered in 223 Wylde. They both reside in my bedroom:

The magazine is, of course, a ten rounder, it looks like a standard capacity but it is not; LaRue tactical used to sell these; and of course it has the obligatory commie bullet button, which makes it a fixed mag.

Good thing there is no law preventing me from acquiring CRK products in California; I would probably move out of this state if that happened. I know, I talk too much, I'm trying to not complain about the erosion of my (ours) liberty and Chinese products, but to be positive for this new year, so help me God.

This shall be my first post in 2016, I think, so I'm trying to make it memorable by bitching and rejoicing at the same time. Sometimes I forget that there are worse things that can befall a man than living in pain; like not having a good gun and a good knife:)
