The Hawks and Kershaw

Thanks for the pictures Thomas. I like the look of the KERSHAW engraved clip, very deep carry as you said. I also love the 2 finger choil's. Ok, I like every thing about this knife! Will there be options: a Tungsten DLC coated; serrated blade; different blade steels? How much of it is designed by the Hawks and how much is Kershaw?
I know too many questions for a knife not even released for sale yet.
One more question. What do you mean by how the knives "are getting dialed in"

Btw nice list Bookworm.

I would imagine there will end up being multiple variations of the RAM, but there is nothing specific on the table today.

The RAM was completely designed by the Hawks, and we just massaged it a tad.

As you take the road from concept to production, the knife itself can run into some twists and turns that you may or may not see coming. Adjustments need to be made prior to getting the knife just right. Once it all comes together, then the piece is dialed in and ready for public consumption. Hope that makes sense.

"Hokey smoke, Bullwinkle!" That's a sweet knife.

One question for anyone who may know or have an educated guess: Does the sharp angle on the ridge(?) of the blade near the tip have a purpose other than aesthetics? I’m not criticizing but am curious.

It makes sense! Thanks for answering my questions Thomas. And thanks for the pictures. NICE looking knife. It may be my perfect edc knife! :D

Yep - Without any doubt at all I will own one of these! In the end, with multiple versions possible I would imagine I will own several, money providing.

Thanks so much for the photos Thomas.

Here is a link to the video that was being asked about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXJzP4CF7ZI

I was showing this video to some co workers today and they were all quite impressed actually. And on a side note, a coworker got a Leek last week because I'm using my Chive all the time and told him WalMart had the leek, and off he went. Today I see a really nice size cut on the side of his thumb, looks like he made it clear through the side of the edge of his thumb. He will still buy more Kershaw knives, I think the other guys were even more impressed with the cut! :) I'm a part time Kershaw salesman I think!

Man I am so looking forward to the NEW RAM from Kershaw... if it's any bit as sweet as the custom, then many of you are going to have a new FAV.

Here's my Hawks
