The head of my hatchet is loose. Any suggestions?

Let's see a photo. My preference would be to reset the head on the handle and re-wedge it. It's better and longer laster than pounding more stuff in there to damage the wood.

If the handle's good, pull it, get/make a new wedge and rehang it. Lots of BLO and DPG.
