Throughout the world, headhunting came to practice, so one could prove its success in battle. The more trophies you had, the better warrior you were. Simple as that.
And as the "fashion" spread, dedicated tools have risen from the tribal workshops, with the sole purpose to mutilate the fallen enemy. First they had sharpened stone blades, then copper, then bronze, then iron and finally steel
So we arrived to this little 33 cm long baby with a 18 cm long and 5 mm thick hand forged damascus blade, hammered from L6 and 1.2516. The handle is buffalo horn, bone and leather.
Its sheath is made of leather and bone.
