whats the balance like on the variant? is it really handle heavy, nuetral balnced, or still a little blade heavy??

i've always wondered about the complete double edged busse's (where the top grind meets the bottom from the ricasso to the tip), as well as some of the nuclears since your taking off so much steel from the blade, and the handles are pretty heavy by themselves.



you know, a custom moab to have matching handles would be a crazy combo :D

Seth,

The balance on the SHSH variant is a little blade heavy.
Maybe if the recurve portion was more pronounced it could be made to be neutral balanced.

A custom MOAB sounds great but maybe just a weee bit on the heavy side for EDC.
I am really drawn to the SHSH's and SFNO for my camping/hiking/survival needs.

I agree with the SFNO for camping/hiking/survival... just need to find one.
The MOASH is probably more than a weeeeee bit on the big side for that use but you know the HOGS.
