Is it peeling or cracking off, the coating I mean.

I think that's the light hitting the blade that makes it look that way.

the coating is not peeling nor cracking tho it is starting to show some wear. but only after several months of hard use.
i carry it on the shlder strap of the pack with cordage. tho sometime i just stick it in my pocket.
the cup/sm pot is a coleman. traded the set with a pal for some bike bits

I havn't used my HEST yet. Too many snakes here FL and NC this time of the year for hiking or geocaching. Will be back in ME. mid june, will be continuing to do outdoor stuff with no worries. Trying to set up a new PSK, the ones I have are old and need replacing.
