I was just wondering if you've handled both/either and what you thought of them? I know you like the HK lineup and figured you might have some opinions on both as a small EDC knife?
Thanks.

The HK 14210 is my main EDC. It's comfortable in the hand and handles most cutting needs. and has an Axis lock. What more do you need?

I personally really like the HK 14210. I think its a better made knife than the Griptilian although I have one of those also and I will say I like it fine but I find that the handle isn't as well made as I like to see. The hollowness of it and the inlayed liners in what feel like cheapo plastic handles does not appeal to me as much personally as the all steel (and thick steel at that) liners of the 14210 with quality G10 scales over the liners.

That knife held an obscene amount of weight on the lanyard end with a cable tied through it in my shop. I forget the total weight it had on it before I stopped but it was over 225 pounds hanging on it and it got so heavy it was the vice no longer being able to hold it that made me stop.

You cannot argue with the strength of that lock for what is basically a smaller gents folder.

I have owned both knives but sold them. You're better off with a Mini Ritter Grip. Much more practical in use.

I actually just got my first Mini Grip(not a Ritter though). If the knife had G-10handles, I wouldn't be thinking about either the HK or 707. Very impressed with it, but hate, no HATE:eek: FRN handles:D

I have both. I prefer the H&K14210 over the Sequel because of the width of the handle. I also like it better than the mini-Grips because of the handle length. I can get a full 4-finger grip on the H&K... not so on the mini-Grips.

The Sequel is a nice thin knife, but it's too thin for my taste. The handle is barely wider than the blade and that makes it a difficult knife to hold for anything other than opening letters.

I really like the H&K. The only downside to me is the slight recurve on the blade. I prefer straight edges, but mine sharpens up well using the corners of my Sharpmaker. I'd highly recommend the H&K for a very nice EDC knife.

I have the 14210. Suffice to say, it not gonna leave me...:)

Very nicely finished knife with steel liners and very grippy G10 scales. it actually has very good fit and finish for a production folder and of course the blade is small enough to be unobtrusive and yet large enough to handle heavier cutting...

I really like it!!
