The Hunt: A simple, elegant folder.

THIS...is very nice. It is elegant. However, A.G. Russell review...This knife is one of the premium editions of the knife. The blade is made out of a Cowry-X core with stainless damascus sides.

yeah. i know. hypocrite. still though the plainness of the handle more than makes up for that in my book.

Seems like me and you are the same page... Simple knife with one unique characteristic. Rather than MOP scales, polished bolsters, filework and damascus all on the same knife. Thank you all for the suggestions and examples. Keep coming. Haven't seen anything that I just have to buy .

As mentioned, A.G. Russell has many knives that would fit the bill. William Henry is another that makes some elegant knives.

My personal favorite is the Kershaw Gentleman's Folder; model 1993-2. Elegant yet simple, subtle and very functional.

You can't go wrong with a Benchmade 530, 530-1303, or 940 ;)

That's as simple as knives can get, and my personal favorites.

This is easy....look no further than the Spyderco Chaparral; everything else is over priced and under whelming. Elegance par excellence.
