The Hunt

That is one of the coolest models I wish I had picked up when I had the chance. Why oh why did I not realize it till it was too late?

I recently got mine from Knifecenter, along with OD-1 and Storm. I think they occasionally get some discontinued models -- maybe Kershaw sends them some freebies when they clean inventory, or when other vendors return stock, like a package deal. They won't appear as "Newly Listed", though; you'll have to directly check the page of the knife on Knifecenter, or browse the Kershaw section. I'd suggest doing so (If you're looking for random discontinued models.) whenever they list new Kershaw or Zero Tolerance models.

Thanks man. Luckily I got a Storm II before it was discontinued, I wouldn't mind a RAM though.

On my wish list from Kershaw is the 1730TBLK, and its cousin the ZT 0400. Not hard to get models, just not a collector, just a user and for the money there are other current knives that can be had for similar money. Now a damascus Zing on the other hand...

Kershaws:
Breakout 7000 Auto
Mini Cyclone Ti/ZDP-189 Framelock (ultra rare)
Original Onion designs with polished micarta and Ti hardware and liners

Forgot the Ti Cyclone, a friend has one, very nice knife. IIRC, they were around $140 new, he paid close to $200 for his about a year after they dried up. No idea what they go for now.

Got my Breakout today and Mini Rukus yesterday among other stuff. Best week ever so far. Until I missed one of those metal handled Junk Yard Dogs with air force markings for $50 because my phone is an asshole. :(

I'd like one of those Kersaw RAMs. I'm not sure about Ebay though. I guess the one with the box pictured might be legit.

Usually around $500 for a BNIB

The Benchmade Spike series knives (640 & 650) are amazing. The Spike was Boguszewski's classiest design in my opinion. The CS rep at Benchmade told me that they still have a few plainedge ATS-34 spare blades for the 640 left in stock. Grab a used 640 if you can and send it to BM for a brand new blade.

I am drawn toward some of these Spydercos...

Spyderco Civilian
Michael Walker Linerlock
Sage 3 in blue G10
EDC Forum knife Native 5 Moonglow
Rock Lobster
