I know it has came up before but if somebody could tell me what the shoes are on the hunted movie are.

Search back a couple of pages, I posted a link, but I don't remember what it was.

"The Hunted" - that's one of the WORST movies I've ever seen! OOOPS...did I just admit to watching it? Oh well...

you know you should at least say why u hate it! some people, incuding me, like the movie alot. im just curious why everyone hates it so much?

I liked the movie, but then some people think I'm weird. ;) I like to hang out in the woods and I play around with knives. ;)

Why do people not like "The Hunted" - the one I'm talking about is with Tommy Lee Jones in case ther is another.

LIBERAL PROPOGANDA is very pervasive in this movie. It is also totally unrealistic throughout, climaxing with a nice little break to forge fighting knives while hundreds of FBI agents comb the banks of the river looking for this guy. Maybe they were using "quiet forging" techniques?

It actually sucked so bad that I had to pop my ears several times between running to the bathroom to vomit...

LOL

This is cool, I loved that movie and followed the link and found they are comming to the Ren. Fair in Waxahachi starting in April. I will definately check them out.

There is a wealth of knowledge here!

yes there is 2 other movies called the hunted i believe. (one has the guy from highlander in it.)
this is not really unrealistic, considering Tom Brown actually chased down a ex-millitary assasin, which he explains in "case files of the tracker".
yes the time period passing between the forging of the knives was vague at best, but they had to allow for time lapse for the people who dont really like to watch knives being made.
and if you would stop vomiting for a second and actually watch the movie you will realize that the FBI agents are searching for his body in the river and looking for some possible tracks on the bank, while hallam is on the other side of the bay past the river! where he moves through to the dam and over to the abandoned car to make a knife.
why would he stop and fight tommy lee when he could run? its a kinda a cinematic way of him facing hims demons and his father/mentor. he also doenst believe that LT is on his side and he is angry for the betrayal.
there is alot of reasons for hallams actions. that most people dont get, the reason for this is his battle stress makes him think hes the good guy and they are trying to kill him it also causes him to mistrust everyone he thinks is on his side. this is very common thinks of people suffering from P.T.S.. my uncle is a nam veteran and he still has problems.
things i still dont like is the length of the final fight scene, some of the unexplained parts, and the time frames were hard to get.

I like the movie. I think there were parts that could have been done a little better but such is life. As far as being realistic...it's a movie and it is ment to entertain not teach outdoor skill's. If you want a movie like that get some hood's wood's films. Now they are real as well as entertaining. :)

Back to the shoes...
Why are their sole flat?
Isn't that more slippery than the textured ones?

I wondered thru the movie why they don't fall flat on the wet stones of the river using that shoes!

BETO

====================
Sorry for my english :o

its a very soft rubber that grips well. its still flexible to give them that moc feel, to be quiet, and leave little track. the reason they didnt fall in the movie is because they actually rubberized the set. so if the rocks were wet they actually gripped better.

open mind before mouth, the banks of a river are not quite when raging as shown in the movie. the sound of the river will drowned out almost anything especially things at a distance. but i will admit i do wonder where he came up with the file to sharpen his newly forged knive....
