Who will be standing on line waiting for the opening of the movie, "The Hunted" ?

What blade'll you going to be packing?

I'd like to be standing in line with a Tom Brown Tracker. But I'll probably just end up buying it when it comes out on DVD.

I'll probably go see the moveie but I don't know about that knife design. I'll keep my opinions open until I read some reviews.

originally i was there just to watch Benicio Del Toro. but when i found out the Sayocs were involved it was a must see.

knives:

Spydie Military

Case Baby Butterbean, bolsterless shadow bone

(big job, small job, big job, small job)

and maybe leave the Military for the guardless coffin handle bowie i'm making (from parts). if i can manage to finish it.

Metis

I'm definitely going to catch this movie...and the new Bruce Willis movie(Tears of the Sun) too.

Does anyone know if The Hunted is a novel? I'd like to get a copy of the book. I'll check Amazon.com for more info...

Well, since the Police knows that we will bring our beloved knives to theatre (thanks to ya bastids :D), I probably won't carry anything.

On the other hand, f#$% it ! I'm gonna bring at least 3 of my knives...

Well, I'll pack along A Tracker of course. Not to comfy in a movie seat, but I'll deal with it for the spirit of things. Pocket knife? Nah its me lap knife.

I saw the trailer for this movie a few months ago, anybody else notice that this movie is basically the same plot as the David Morell book/Sly Stallone movie First Blood??

Ex-Special Forces guy goes buggy and starts killing in the woods, bring in his former commander to hunt him down.

we even have a cool knife for visual effect.

BTW Don't take this as criticism, I will be first in line packing my Mirage and Chinook as always!;)

When will be the opening ?

Because I will travel from Monterrey N.L. México to Laredo Tx or Mc Allen Tx in order to see the movie the first day when they show it.

And of course I allways carry on me my BM31 ( Balisong ) and my leatherman wave ( one hand opening ).

Thank you

Rolando

There's already some advertising going on and you'll be able to catch some articles here and there about the film.

Mr. Watson, - Comments on the Sayoc Kali choreographed knife scenes, from AICN - an online film review site.

"The knife fights in this movie are so brutal, hell, all combat in this film, of any typeŠ This film will make you flinch in your seat. Friedkin's fight sequences in this film are so visceral and fast, clear and intense that you may find yourself going, "Oh F**K, oooowww, S**T , S**T , OUCH, Oh Man Oh Man!"

"You might even have your fingers in front of your eyes and peering back at the screen through the cracks between. You have been warned. You've never seen knife fights like thisŠ Don't think WEST SIDE STORY, think about striping and cleaning a deer. "

and...

" It is far more intense than I think you may be expecting, though not so much in a gory fashion, but in a kinetic way brought on by brutal editing and sound mixing. And yes, a knife is shown to be as brutal as a knife could ever be. "

from another review on AICN:

"This movie, simply put, just kicks unholy a$$. It is a non-stop, relentless assault of tension, action and bad a$$ed knife fights. This is one of those films that truly pays off"

I will be in line with my Cuda Maxx clipped to my right front pocket.I got hard just watching the preveiws for it.

Probably won't make it opening day but will see it in the first week or so. I'm almost thinking I should leave the sharp stuff in the car and take a trainer in case I get excited and need something to fondle:D Seriously though I'm looking forward to the seeing the knife choreography work of Tuhon Rafael Kayanan and Tuhon Tom Kier.
Stay Safe,
Clyde

I'm there. This movie looks really cool, has a cool knife, awesome wilderness scenes and TL Jones' movies are usually pretty good.

Given the hype about "realistic knife action" I was disappointed that one of the previews shows a knife flying through the air like an arrow. Maybe it makes sense in the movie but it is hard to believe any survial school graduate would throw a knife at a distant target.

Segment are handled by separate crews - some are by FX crews and others by the stunt /actors / choreographers. When making a film- one crew might not even be in the same area that time of day.

When I saw it last the knife made too many revolutions - I guess they whittled it down to one straight arrow effect.

Let us know if the knife fights meet your standards.

best,
