I love Nathan because I once agreed to make one of his discontinued models, without asking him first, and even said "go ahead" when my cutter told me there was extra room on the sheet and he could fit handful more daggers on it. Then someone posted one, Nathan saw it, posted a whiskey tango foxtrot, I saw that, and realize what an idiot I was. I apologized for my lack of thought, modified the last one I had left at the time so it would be a different model, and he was kind enough to forgive my stupidity and allow me to remain on amicable terms with him. A class act.

There's also the whole 'built a successful knife business by making amazing products and caring about his customers', which I guess has to count for something too...
