Stay safe. It will wait.

I've been trying to answer your query for two days ... but, I can wait if it keeps y'all safe.

Sigh. No INFI for Xmas. Maybe New Years. :)

We're off to the beach for a week. A little place called Lennox head. :D

Gotta love summer in Oz :D :D

It has been snowing on and off since Sunday. It sticks around until late morning then melts off in the afternoon. After it gets dark it starts sticking again. We had a little bit of ice last night but so far nothin serious. This weekend is supposed to get bad.

We have been on standby to assist the hospital with nurse and doctor transportation to keep it adequtely manned. So far we have not been needed but that may change tonight or tomorrow. The foot hills around here have been getting snow. In fact our Christmas party got cut short last Sat to go rescue a father and his 16 and 7 year old sons that had gotten lost in the snow. To make matters worse none of them were properly dressed and dad had the only coat. We found them and all turned out well.

I was at the beach today without a shirt and I tried getting in the Gulf but the water was freezing!! (Upper 60's;):D in the water)

I soooo do not miss winter storms.

The *quiet and serenity* I mentioned on post #31 of this thread is no longer present,,,,,,, the princess called for a ride,,,, Blizzard conditions ,,,, white out,,,,, very little plowing ,,,, not a problem for my F-250 3/4 ton,,,,,,,,, cept trying to avoid the road spazzes in the lil Honda an Toyota rolling speed bumps..... you'd figure in the conditions I described only the 4x4 nutz would be out,,,,,,,, however ,,,,,,, thats where common sense ends,,,,,,no ice yet,,,,,,,,, but we'll get the Ohio weather probably monday.....yuckkkkkkkk :(

I'm a bit north of David and at 5200 feet; it is about 33 degrees right now and the dog bowl was frozen last night. Most of the couple of inches of snow we had yesterday is gone, but further up on the Mogollon Rim there is still snow and it looks like a Christmas card! Stay warm, all y'all!

Another storm to the west, got about 8" earlier in the week, an inch last night, it's been in the single digits for part of the week.

There was a break today, the temp got almost up to 40 ~ noon, long enough to load the scoot in the truck.

I had to shovel the snow out of the bed and pry up the bags of tube sand, but I made a hole. The storm coming in is suppose to stay through tomorrow night, so if I didn't get it loaded today, I was going to have to borrow a bike when I got to AZ.

Figure the extra weight will improve traction :D

My daughter and I are heading down to AZ Sunday morning for the week.

This was 2006.

Hopefully we won't get that much, we don't normally have a white Christmas here :confused:

Safe travel, JJ! MMIAM, yep, and Flag is about two hours north of me, but at 7000'--above the Rim. Used to live there and I really miss it sometimes!

Snow and ice here in Pa . Just got home from plowing and shoveling. I hope it does not start again I want to play with my kids and dogs tomorrow not go back out plowing

Send some of that ice down here, snow would be better but I will take what I can get.It has rained most nonstop sense Sunday.

I hope the storm doesnt get too severe for you guys. Those ice storms can be pretty nasty. Stay safe and warm.

Well,,,,,,,, it's still snowing here,, well over a foot now an still falling,,,,,,mailman rang the bell this mornin,,,,, my heart jumped thinkin maybe the Ganza knives :D ....... of course my wife heard the bell.... first words out of her mouth,,,,, "That better Not be more knives!!!!!!" ,,,,, Thank gawd it was only a few lanyards I ordered... still the not knowing *when* on the shipping is scary,,,,,@ least in my situation....

.... of course my wife heard the bell.... first words out of her mouth,,,,, "That better Not be more knives!!!!!!"

I was thinking about renting a small apartment so I could have my knives sent there and I would have a place I could keep and fondle them without my wife finding out.

When my wife saw me looking throught the classifieds for the apartment she said, "you better have a woman on the side, because if I find out you have a place for knives you don't want me to know about you are a dead man!!"

So much for that idea;)

STILL SNOWING,,,,Gonna be for 3 days by morning,,,,,,,,,this is Bogus. Hogfeet if you need an entire apartment just for knives your collection must be a lil bit bigger than mine,,,,,,, rofl . However , I'll split the rent with you If I can have a small room for mine and the use of the mailing address :D move in a small fridge throwing target board , puter , etc. etc .

Guess I'll hafta move a lil south too ,,,,,,,, no damn snow ,,,,, just hurricanes....lol
