First of all, I'd like to thank Reese Weiland for going above and beyond. He has taught me so many things, only limited by our phone conversations. As a knifemaker, how important do you think mentoring other younger wannabe makers is? We are so (relatively) few these days and I believe it is almost greedy to keep our skills to ourselves. I consider myself in the wannabe maker catagory as I only mod knives right now but would like to make my own stuff.

I can honestly say the knife maker world and blacksmith world has some very good folks. Always willing to take time out to give helpful hints and knowledge through there years of hard work.

I have only been at this a few months and several makers have helped me out big time! Its good to know the pro's enjoy encouraging newbs and helping out every chance they get!

That is all.

I wouldnt be where I'm at w/o the mentoring of Jeff Davis. He used to be a part of blade forums, mostly in the hawk talk section. He taught me so much of the basics of blade smithing. igniting the passion I have for making knives today.

Thank you.

RW and DDR have given me amazing advice as far as design/marketing.
