For a couple of weeks now, the Impulse has been even getting smoother and smoother to open. It seems like it went from a $50 knive to a $135 in smoothness and mechanic-ability.
There are no burrs, the fit and finish are fine, the rubber inserts in the handle are well made and attractive. The cut-outs in the blade are well balanced to look at. The blade shape is nicely a little different.

I am happy...

Mark, does your Impulse have a bead blasted or a black Teflon-coated blade? Just curious here.

Two important questions in life:
Do they have a catalog?
Did you know there's a town called "Batman" in Turkey?

The one I have has the black teflon-coated blade. No scratches yet, looks great with the black handle. Feels a little slippery, but, that may not be important in a blade.
The knife continues to have a strong lockup, and no blade wobble.
