Surprisingly I completed this after many many hours (I quit keeping track after 375) and going through Chemo treatments at the same time it has not been easy. This Tomahawk I built as a art piece and is not meant to be used;) The whole display would look great on someones desk,maybe a gallery or where ever. Anyway its a bit different without a knife and just the Tomahawk and hope you all like it. If some one might be interested and you don"t agree with my asking price make me a offer. Specs on piece are below.

Tomahawk;
OAL- 9 1/2 inches
Handle- Fossil Walrus Tusk Tip that I scrimshawed a Indian Buffalo Hunter in full head dress with a Buffalo skull and a Buffalo in his dreams. Bottom of handle is wrapped with leather with attached beads and feathers. The Tomahawk head ( Black Obsidian) was knapped by my friend Leroy Beard who is 85 yrs young and has been knapping obsidian for 60 plus years.

Display;
A fossil Walrus ivory tusk that I scrimshawed a Buffalo scene with the Indian Buffalo Hunter looking at his prize "The Buffalo". The tusk is 20 inches long and weighs approx. 3 1/2 lbs. The display is black extruded acrylic. The piece that the Bronze statue is attached to is 4 attached pieces of acrylic that I hand carved to look like a rock. Statue is a lost wax casting of a Indian on horse back with the Tomahawk. Statue is 12 inches long and stands 11 1/2 inches high. It is unknown to me who actually did the statue but I liked it and it was NOT cheap.$$$ I would guess that the whole piece weighs approx. 10 lbs.

Asking $3900.00 which includes free shipping via USPS Priority Insured Mail. I will accept a money order or check for payment. Thanks to all of you for taking a look.:D

Great work. Good luck with your chemo. My oldest son is getting his first one right now. . At least you kept your mind active and produced a work of art.:thumbup:

you are not asking enough money for all that work and material Ray , you need to add 1K to that price .

Thanks Jack.....Yes with the time and material it is actually worth twice that amount but most everyone on here creating these beautiful knives is probably working for less than $10.00 an hour once you figure your HONEST time and material cost.
