I removed the screws and polished the screw heads with a strop with compound. It only took a minute of figure 8s to do it. The pivot screws especially turned out nice.

Currently I don't use a picture hosting site so I can't share here.
 
What is the purpose of the small indentation on the spine of the blade just in front of the thumb stud?
