The Inlays are here! The inlays are here!

The Brown Truck came to my house this morning.

The new Sebenza is awesome. TNK's pics are great but to have it in your hand is even better.

:)

Hi

Glad you like it. You really did get the pick of the litter. Nice grab!

Now you need a Small Bark Mammoth LE and a Bark Mammoth Mnandi to compete the Trifecta!

Best regards, Neil

Thank you! Yes, have no plans to sell my Sebenzas but I wouldn't want to say never.

The Mammoth Ivory Bark and damascus should be absolutely outstanding.

All the best,
Rich

The small Annual seb with Mammoth Ivory Bark and Devin Thomas Stainless Damascus arrived today. I am quite certain this is the nicest knife I will ever own. Its stunning to say the least.

I will post some pictures by the weekend.

Hey does anyone have a pic of the thuya inlay? I have one headed my way from Boise and I'm not sure what it will look like. I'm sure it will be cool, it should be in my hands in a couple days. I'll post pics when I get it.
RNST that sebbie is awesome I bet, I hear that the stainless damascus makes a good using steel.

Hey does anyone have a pic of the thuya inlay?

It's not a Sebenza sadly, but I have a knife with a nice example of Thuya Burl.

Hopefully the pics will ease the wait for you a little :)

You've made a great choice, it's got a wonderfully rich grain and texture.

Thanks roefisher! That is a nice burl pattern.:thumbup:Heather told me that my LE had a really nice figured burl inlay in the knife and now I know what to expect. Thanks again!

Most excellent! Can't wait to see pix...You too Scott Dog. I haven't gotten the call this week for mine, hopefully next.

I guess the funnest part is waiting.............NOT!:grumpy:

I also received my small LE Bark Ivory raindrop damascus sebe last week. I have gone through a range of emotions with this knife. When I first opened the box, I was disappointed and even a bit sick to my stomach because the inlays didn't live up to the vision I had in my mind. After I got over that (it took about a day), I started to really appreciate the beauty of the knife. I now feel that the knife is truly stunning and I am very happy with my purchase.

Given that, I doubt I will ever purchase another bark ivory knife sight unseen. There is such a wide range of bark ivory that I want to see what I am getting before I fork over this kind of money again. The knife is really stunning though. I will post some picks when I get a chance.

Folders I'm happy it worked out for you, but I'm the same way, I'll probably never purchase one sight unseen.

There are some new 2007 LE (small and large) just up on True North Knives if anyone is interested.

The small Damascus is nothing but stunning. I can only hope my mammoth resembles yours. Congrats!

Those are beautiful. I imagine they will be gone pretty soon.

I wish I had an extra $1000 laying around for another knife!! lol, but alas my new Mnandi and Small Classic will have to do me for a while :-)

Rich:

I saw the one at TNK I think that really sucks because I was specifically told by CRK that they would only produce the inlays this year in four inlay materials and palm wasn't an option. If it was I would have ordered mine in palm.:grumpy:

I was just surfing at myknifedealer.com - Leo has a large right handed, double lug, 2007 Black Palm with damascus. Very sweet looking knife, if you are interested.

I have my quota of CRK for this year and I won't be picking this one up.

Second batch of the 07's are shipping. I got a call from Mindy on Wednesday saying my large with ivory and Damascus was ready to ship. Can't wait to see her. This coming week it should be here.

Lynn is a great guy to deal with. He gets some choice CRK pieces in every now and again!

Scott Dog
