Finally done!

It came out pretty close to what I had envisioned when designing it. I guess that's a good sign. Sorry for the poor pics. It also needs sharpening

The inlay was a pain to do but I will definitely use that technique again in some way.
It was also my first time doing a domed handle pin, like I saw Nick Wheeler do, (not that it is nowhere near Nick's standards of course) and I love the look. I don’t think I'll be going back to flushed pins.
I made a display stand for it. Well actually 3 but with great advices from bladeforumites, finally came up with the right one.
Eventually I need to try my hand at hard sheaths. I think it would have looked nice on this one but then again I like that the blade and inlay will be displayed and not hidden in a sheath.

Only thing I am not sure is if I send it for proper glamour shots with Coop.

So thanks again for being patient with me, putting up with all the questions and following the progress.

Here are the specs:
Blade length: 8 1/4” OAL: 13 7/8”
Grind: Flat
Steel: 1095, clay/hamon
Handle: African Blackwood
Fittings: Stainless steel (316)
Blade inlay: Sterling Silver .925

Beautiful, flowing lines and what looks to be exception fit/finish.....nice work. :)

Beautiful knife Patrice.
Kind of pretty and scary at the same time.
Great finish on the Blackwood as well.
Looks like a lot of work went into this one.

I really like it. If I remember correctly, some did not like the handle shape. I sure do.

It really is something I'd expect to see on the cover of Blade Magazine or something. Exceptional and unique!

Stunning Pat - Hollywood worthy! I'd love to see this used by Dean to stab a demon in the chest (Supernatural).
The handle looks demonic, but the blade righteous...the Inquisitor is a perfect name for it! Time to put an edge on it ;-)

Je te lève mon chapeau, mon chum!

I watched this one from the start. Outstanding design. Beautiful work Patrice. The cast and hammer inlaid sterling silver cross is just the right touch of Old World Class.

You guys are just too nice. :o
The camaraderie and sharing my work with you is a big part of why I do this so this means a lot. Thank you.

Oups, made a booboo for the dimensions. :o It should read:

Blade length: 8 1/4” OAL: 13 7/8”

Thanks hellize.
