OK gang,
We are about a month late, but they are leaving the Cutlery! The first Jerry Fisk designed National Living Treasure Series Desert Ironwood Bowies shipped Friday afternoon. The first 100 pcs went to AG Russell Knives, and we should ship between 80-100 more pieces before the end of the month.

Dex - Yo Bro', never had a problem keeping it up! :D :D :D
The AFTERMATH - it'll come EVENTUALLY!

Anybody else get theirs, yet. If somebody on here gets serial number 145, and that number holds no particular meaning for you, would you consider trading it for number 108 or 109. My first edition is number 145 and I would like to have the set in matching numbers, if possible.
Oh yeah, aren't they gorgeous!

Oops, thanks Cheryl!!

Bill,

OK, that's enough out of you!!! :p By the multiple posts in the custom area, you've maxed out your monthly amount for new knives!!!!!!!!

SHEEEEEEESH:eek: ;) :D

I got # 40 today. This is one of the most beautiful knives I have ever seen. Only one problem-- it's too good looking to use. I'd like to see a production version with a Micarta onafly and Kydex sheath.

That sure is one beautiful threesome.... best one I've seen since "Hannah does her sisters".
How about some details about that revolver... she sure is purty!
I received my ironwood OVB last week. I must say, a good job picking out the wood. From the pics I've seen thus far, there appears to be quite a bit of variation between individual knives in this incarnation. Of course this will be inherent in the nature of ironwood. I think this makes for cases of OVB envy amongst it's owners. I like the ones I've seen and I sure like mine.
The other thing I noticed in difference between the two OVB's is that the attention to the blade grinds is top-notch in #2, while I can pick out a flaw or two on #1. Kudos for getting it right. I hope however, that the handles do not darken with this knife, this is a problem that can and does happen with ironwood. Does anybody know if/how this can be prevented?
Thanks,
Mongo
