Bruce, as you know, I don't particularly care for Damascus - BUT - superlatives ALL THE WAY AROUND on this magnificent piece, one ANYONE, even I, would be proud to own!

I have long been a fan of good checkering, and it's a rare treat on knives. Most 'upper end' knives have ivory in some form. This elevates the form.

That extended truss spine does it for me. Snap!
