That’s just sad but, in his defense, we do not have a current pay it forward thread to use. Not that I think it would of made any difference.

Personally, I could not picture selling my pay it forward gear. Saving it until the next PIF thread would be an option. Or maybe gifting it to someone else. Selling it just seems uncouth to me.

Right now all of mine is in my rotation of gear that I use. I have no plans to get rid of any of it.
 
sabre cat sabre cat I know it's just not the bf way of doing things. But we're not the internet police. Only thing you can do is put this stuff up as a warning for others. Monofletch put up a GBU and Zacboy got all foulmouthed and was still trying to manipulate things. Like withdrawing the Endura and lying about it, the same one that is in his ebay store for sale.

This only leaves two guesses. The guy is a total piece of garbage or he's in such bad financial straits that any form of hustle is helping him out. Both scenarios suck, I don't wanna step on a guy's neck who is down and out. But I sure as hell don't want any BF members in good standing to get duped. A lot of good ppl on this thread and some interlopers ahem...(W&C) crew got involved trying to actually protect BF members and well you saw what calamaity ensued. The same with Bikerector and Southpawdraw, Monofletch, WValtakis, Bluesbender, Strongbear. These are all normal BF members in good standing that basically got trapped into defending their positions over the nonsense caused by outsiders trying to cash in on people's generosity.

So don't even feel bad for what that guy was trying to say in his GBU thread, we all know it ain't the truth. Whether or not he was just manipulating to make a buck or has to in order to hustle because he's in bad financial straights again is a separate issue. Either way, just glad that people know the truth.

Hopefully things aren’t that bad for him financially. I know what that’s like and it’s not any fun. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. Just like I wouldn’t wish divorce on my worst enemy.

There are hard times and then there are hard times. If someone is having problems feeding their family then I don’t have any problem with them selling off what they received as a PIF.

However, that brings up the question as to why someone is having financial problems. If someone cannot feed their family only because they always have a bottle in their hand or a needle in their arm, I won’t have as much compassion as if they got sick and lost their job or the company they work for a closed their doors. I will have some compassion, don’t get me wrong, but, I do look at things a little bit differently under those circumstances.

I have a longtime friend that over the course of a few months got sick, hospitalized, lost his job, and his wife bailed on him because of it. He is now living in his car through no fault of his own. Sometimes life can be very rough. I do what I can for the guy but, there is not much that I have to offer.

Hopefully Zackboy7 will not end up in a situation like my friend.

This is exactly what I'm getting at. What he did wasn't right and it should be known. But I'm not gonna kick a man whose down regardless of why they're down.

Absolutely love the BHQ Metamorph in CF/M390. Great knife! Will have to send its brother down ye olde PiF stream if we ever open another one. Or sooner ;) Feel like someone was asking about it before things got shut down. Might have to search that thread and reach out to em...
 
Got a PM from Fullflat Fullflat the other day that he had a funky little plastic slide lock knife that made him think of me, and he wanted to send it to me. Package came in today, I haven't seen one of these knives in at least 20 years, and he threw in a GITD Han in carbonite patch!:D:cool:

Thanks again man, funky lil knife brought back some fond memories:)

Welp, def annoyed I sent him a Kershaw Needs Work to calm him down from missing out on one.
Dude has almost 8000 sales on eBay and says its a side business (with knives listed as the first thing he sells) in his description.
Really something that ought to have been disclosed when he started going off about missing out on PIFs.
Wow, just wow. Another one to toss on the Ignore list pile.

And you did notice that Kershaw went right up in the for sale pile on eBay. No response from him on the call out about the obvious blatant lie about what he did with the Endura pif he put up and then took back to give to a family member which is also on eBay.

No, I'm not seeing the Needs Work on eBay currently or in his past sales?
Where did you find that?
