The KA-BAR Thread

The sabre grinds on the clasp knife and swing guard are really nice, these knives are in great original shape no buffing, original tips, some light stone marks but put away and stored well for the most part.

For some reason I have two pairs.

I still have the kabar 1152 that my dad gave me almost 50 years ago, been lost a couple times and found even fell out of my pocket and was run over I went back to the spot and there it was scales were still intact and the only thing wrong was it was just slightly bent in but that straightened out an it's still going strong.
I don't have much to remember dad by but I have this and his old marlin model81dl bolt action 22 rifle so I can think of him when I look at that scout knife and remember that he was a scout master and when I go wondering around the timber an take a break by a comfortable tree remembering how he served in WWII in the 750th armored in those Sherman tanks and he was actually lucky enough to make it back alive to live the good life till February 1998 RIP dad 😢
