BirGorkha calls this the "Kanchi Special." Kanchi is Pala's daughter who is currently helping at BirGorkha -- watchdog mostly -- and she dreamed up the design which I think may have been influenced by some Hindi film. Serrations leave something to be desired but since I don't like serrations anyway perhpas I'm prejudiced.

15 inches and 15 ounces and excellently executed by Sher. Feels surprisingly nice in the hand. Village sarki who usually stutters when making a scabbard for a new design did an unusally nice job on this one.

One of a kind, never to be made again, delivered to your door for a hundred bucks.

Call or email.

Sorry Uncle, but that seems to be completely devoid of spirit.

Blessings and all due respect to Kanchi, better concentrate on watchdogging.

Only my humble opinion and everyone has one. :(

Looks like something with a VERY strong, oddly-shaped mouth took a bite out of it.

The Finns use a fishing knife that has that profile and serrations on the back that aren't quite as dramatic. They aren't to be 'cool' or cause more damage. They use the notches on the back to straighten hooks and such.

Darn, mamav snagged this one too! I can't win anymore. Oh,, hmmm,, I guess this ones coming here,,,, hmm,, Guess I better be nice,, might get to see it,, hopefully not flying at me!:D ;) :D

I actually liked the thing. What's wrong with me? It was bizarre. The wobbles...could you scale a fish with those?

Make a great Jason weapon....

It's very.........

Very.........

Mmmmm.....
Different.

If the serrations were in a half-moon I might
suggest vegetable scaper or fish scaler.
I suppose she might have had some utility in mind,
but what?

The rest of the blade looks OK.

My guess: somebody had a spare seax blade that got screwed up on the spine :). Nice way to cover it though :D

.. still wonder if it is "interesting", "difficult" or just "ugly"...
I think mpisi is right with his theory - the seaxes were Sher-made too.
