The Kanchi Special?? Pix and one only.

My first thought was of the Himalayan's,also. So I looked up a piture of the range in Nepal and the serrations are remarkable like the silouette of the range that our friends in Nepal probably look at daily. There appeared to be a slight dip leading up to Mt. Everest and from there a larger dip just like the knife. Maybe that was her idea.
 
This knife has arrived here. Looks neat (actually kinda wierd) from a distance. Can't get close enough to be sure. Obviously not mine. Will probably get to sharpen it someday. Am told the sheath is perfect. Outstanding job by the Village Sarki. Not sure about the serrations. Like on alot of those "military style" knifes the serrations seem a little thick to do any effective sawing. Like on that TOPS Tracker (the ones on the kanchi are thinner) the best possible use is probably to,,, I don't know,, not sure. Might make a good shredder. Maybe,,,,:rolleyes:
 
Could it make those fries with the wiggles in them?
Could you tenderized Cube steak?
Do you realize a murder commited with this weapon would never be solved unless they recovered the instrument? Nothing on earth matches it. Good mystery fiction here...

What would I do without Hoghead?:confused: The knife is very interesting. I still think they were thinking of the Mountains. But really it does look like a mutant seax. You have to give it to those guys for their creativity in trying times!!Maybe I will just hang it up as a conversation starter. Look what you guys have done with it.:D
 
Mamav, strange looking knife. Why don't you send it to me for testing purposes?:D BTW It reminds me of a knife made by Durba that I picked up last year.:cool:
 
I don't know about sending it, but I might stop by if i ever convince Hoghead to let me take my kimchee vacation. You sound like you need a chaparone around there;) :rolleyes:

Yes, this is the KANCHI special thread and the knife looks like a mishap on a SEAX and my kimchee vacation is in the air and the only way hoghead can get away with that is because he knows I'm not that type:D :rolleyes:

He still hasn't OK'ed my tour of the western states to visit relatives. Can't imagine why...who would want to go visit their mother-in-law:D :D
