The Kershaw Warehouse Sale haul thread- WARNING- PIC HEAVY!!

I hope not because I've already been there looking tonight...

Although, I have 5 nice Blurs, so I'm kinda hoping he doesn't have one I really need. :)

Oh man, I think it just hit me. These are my first Kershaw knives, been fondeling these two all night here at work and jeez! This is gonna be bad for my bank account. The JYD is an awesome blade...but the 0301! I mean, it's like having a BK2 in your pocket!
 
You guys will need to be a bit patient with me, I just got my inventory done, I will have a list ready to email before anything hits my site. I should have the list ready tomorrow afternoon sometime. I will announce here when it is ready and I will probably post it in the dealer exchange as well. It was a blast today, got some goodies that is for sure !

That's awesome! I miss Thomas around here. Looking forward to Dave's list! (Though I'll probably just be window shopping. I already spent my Christmas money on his black Friday sale :)

I haven't read anywhere about the prices. What are they like?

I know Benchmade had a sale awhile back online, and their prices were above street value, but below their MSRP (so they considered it a sale :rolleyes:)

How much were some of the knives? I live in California, and I don't want to drive a few hours next year to only save $20 on some ZT's. Spyderco's sale in Colorado this year was ridiculous, they had Damascus/Carbon Fiber Caly 3.5's for $70. And Manix 2 XL's for $30 or so.
 
Well, here's the pix of my haul from opening day. I do have a question I could use some help with. The 0301 I picked up sounds like something is loose in it when the blade is open. It's fine when it's closed, but when it's opened it sounds like something is very slightly knocking, almost like a loose bushing. Is this the "defect"? Is it normal for this knife? Any of you have the same experience? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

You're good to go. It's normal - the spring assist torsion bar has a bit of play in the open position.
 
yep, take off the G10 scale, put some grease in the torsion bar cavity & put it back together
 
Good deal, thanx for the info. Man do I like that knife! Pretty happy with both of them...my Tenacious seems like a pile of crap now though...
