The Kershaw whirlwind is the the movie "the departed"

while kershaw isnt the best thing going they are far from **** imho.

i havent seen any other posts concerning the knife in the movie either.

how was the movie?? i wanna see it, probably will next week.

P.P.S. The Spec Bump has a new article in this months Blade Magazine as (I believe) the best Knife ken Onion and Kershaw makes . .check it out. The leek won the award for 2002 Blade's knife of the year . .the Offset won Blade's Best Overall knife for this year . .and the Boa, Segal, and others have all had praise and articles in their favor . .Kershaw must be doing something right.

What issues is the article in and on what page? I couldn't find it in my mag.

Hmmmm? Maybe it was last month . .. .I 'm not sure I read it at a news stand, but I thought it was this months new issue. . . which probable means it has nexts month date on the cover.

It's a featured article about 3 pages.

Without a doubt I challenge any knife conneseur to pick up a specbump/offset and tell me that's a '**** knife'. The troll's list of Kershaw's he mentioned are all their cheapest, low end models.

The Kershaw Blackout was also used in a movie. I forget the title but it's the one where Haley Joel Osmet gets stabbed at the end, with Kevin Spacey...what was that movie? I supplied 6 of them to the production staff for that one shot! Wonder what happened to the 5 they didn't need?

I think the Departed is actually a remake of a Hong Kong action flick called Infernal Affairs (not to be confused with the Richard Gere/Andy Garcia flick Internal Affairs)... saw the original. Plot was excellent- acting not so much. But as per HK flicks lots of action... Hopefully the Departed will be as good if not better.
