The Khukuri as a bayonet

Many thanks for good help, all, and many thanks again to pal JP for the booklet. It's good info but there are a few things in it I'm sure the kamis would not agree with.

Walosi,
Thanks for posting the GM website. Not only is it 10 times better than the original, but they have more products, books, etc and even an email address. "The Kukri" (note spelling) is listed as product number 122J for 2 Pounds fifty. There was some debate about this and I'm glad to see it's there.

I highly recommend Tony Gould's "Imperial Warriors". Next to Byron Farwell's excellent "The Gurkhas" these make for great reading and information.

Uncle,
I would have to agree with the kamis on disagreeing with some of the pamphlets content, but let's also not forget how much kamis disagree with each other! I brought up some of my comments and research to them and it was only grudgingly received. Don't forget that the place is run by a retired Field Marshall and a Brigader. They were gracious enough to let me offer them my edited version along with as many photos as possible. One of these days I will do just that. No matter what, I suggest anyone with a real interest should get this booklet and we can all fight over how to spell 'kukri' again.

It's an interesting little pamphlet and has some good info. I don't view it as the "Bible" of the khukuri but it is certainly worth having around.
