The Knife Exchange//????//New name? Contest?

I see that the categories have been updated (deleated) as promised, but not the name! I am sure that even Spark wouldn't argue that "The Knife Exchange" is still an exchange. Spark has asked us for input in the past, so let's see if we can come up with a name that accurately reflects what this part of BF is now about.

I'm thinking about just switching it to "Dealers" and leaving it be. BTW, the forums haven't been deleted, just turned off... they are still there hiding.

Since the threads are still there, would it be possible to set up the old FS forum as a searchable archive? IMO, it could be a good reference for FMV on various pieces. TIA.

I guess I could, only problem would be those who couldn't read the message on the forum entrance - and would still try to post new for sale threads.

I'm sure you can do better than that! Besides, TGBU forum might still be useful for additional comment/feedback for good, bad and ugly private sellers using the classifieds.

Or, ...maybe you could move "Knives for Trade" and "Knives Wanted" (NO for sale listings!!!) back here and name it something catchy like: The Knife Exchange!!!

Bladebay ? !!! Hell yeah I like that. You figure if Diablo II can have dbay.com , why can't we have Bladebay ? I know its not up for debate, but if it ever is, count my vote for Bladebay.

I'd hate to see the copyright / trademark lawsuit we'd have by using BladEbay.... but who knows... it may come in later on down the line.

PS: BladeBay is a great name, but I was searching for something to replace the "Knife Exchange" header. Maybe Spark is right: "Dealers".... (Still don't like the ring of that one...)

But then where do you move The GB&U forum????
