Guys:

I spied this knife on Ebay (the auction's done, mods - I waited before posting this) and just had to show it to you ....

The description read: "KNIFE FOLDING 2 BLADE CASE XX 6244 VINTAGE. THE KNIFE HAS BEEN SHARPENED, THE BLADES ARE STAINED, NO CORROSION. THE HANDLE IS TIGHT AND IN GREAT CONDITION, NO CRACKS."

Sharpened? Ya think!? :D

A very rare Case with a large and small punch blades. tell Charlie Waynorth right away ;))

Regards

Robin

I bet that pen blade probably saw a lot more action than the main. Makes ya think about how much blade is really needed.

God Bless

Ha ha ha I think the original owner had the jitters

5-6 more sharpenings, and that pen will be just a memory! I'd be afraid to twist that baby in a piece of leather!
Imagine being the guy sharpening it for the last time, and the blade suddenly vanishes into steel dust!:D Definitely your money's worth!!

Oh, to funny.

They should of said, THIS KNIFE HAS BEEN CUSTOMIZED.:D

On second thought, if that thing brought a decent buck I'd be dissapointed in myself for disposing of similar items over the years.:(

"Customized", possibly, and, if so, I think that I might be able to guess "for what". Years ago, I saw a picture of a pocket knife that had had its blades ground in a very similar fashion so that cedar wood could be whittled/carved more efficiently.

Heck, buy it and put new blades on it. In the shape it's in, it couldn't hurt it. (Would Case re-blade an old one like that? They re-bladed my large two-blade Hunter, so I wonder if they'd work on that old one too?)

thx - cpr
